On her own after a magical evening where she may have met her soul mate ENRIQUE who’s had to leave the island to fly back to Spain, DIWATA drifts off to sleep and so begins a vivid dream taking place in weeks before the 1521 Battle of Mactan in what could be a past life. Diwata is a princess in the court of Lapu-Lapu, a “babaylan,” spiritual leader for her people, a woman Lapu-Lapu listens to for her insight and advice.
